Mission Statement: HeartMade
members work together to use their talents and skills to create items to
contribute as a whole to children in need.
The goal of HeartMade is to allow a single
person whose work alone may not seem like much, work together with others to ake a little a lot. Consequently, individual children and their
families feel the love that a group
of strangers can feel for them as well as having some of their needs met. Heartmade
also desires to create an atmosphere where its members have the opportunity to
increase in skill by sharing their knowledge with others and to learn from them
in return, therefore, benefiting both the individual and the community.
Goal: The members of HeartMade create one hand
crafted hat, or blanket a month to donate to children in need. Each group gets together at the minimum of
every three months in order to work together, share ideas, and grow together as
a group in skill and confidence.
